Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Concrete Project Manager / Estimator at Southern Enterprise Group, with some flexibility to work from home.  The Concrete Project Manager / Estimator will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of concrete construction projects.  Responsibilities include managing project timelines, conducting site inspections, coordinating logistics, expediting materials and labor, resolving issues, and  ensuring compliance with safety regulations.  Must have the ability to analyze scope of work, project plans and specifications, and to develop realistic and competitive cost estimates. 

Qualifications

   Project Management Skills

• Proficiency in expediting and logistics management
• Experience in conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with project requirements
• Understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce them
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred

    Estimating Skills:

• Perform accurate and thorough take-offs
• Accurately estimate the costs of construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Role Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of concrete construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with the scheduling team, supervising field crews, monitoring project progress, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Superintendent will also collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.

Job Requirements

We are looking for an experienced on-site superintendent with at least 3 years experience In concrete construction. Strong knowledge of methods, tools and equipment required. Scheduling, mechanical skills and OSHA certification a plus.
